The second half started well for St Colmcille and they scored there first goal in the third minute of the restart, bringing their defecate down to just fore points,

But The Gaeils kept their focus and responded well with Points from Freddie Newman and Liam Byrne. Gary McGovern blasted to the net two minutes later. McGovern who looked very accurate throughout and ended the match with a total of (1-07), The Gaeils pushed on from there and although they conceded a second goal The game was put well out of sight when Freddie Newman scored the Gaeils third goal ten minutes from time

It was an excellent start for the Gaeils but tougher opposition awaits them in two weeks when they take on St Vincent's
