Royal County Meath Yearbook has acknowledged these talented players every year when picking the Hurling Team of the Year.

It’s amazing that 3 clubs dominated this position over the ten years. 5 in a row winners Kiltale claimed six of those jerseys with the talented Stephen Donoghue named three times. Martin Doran was also named at corner back last year as was Anthony Forde in 2012. Brendan McKeon, for his outstanding displays against Kiltale, was the latest recipient.
