Meath Hill lost out by two points to St Pats on Sunday morning in Stamullen in Rd 5 of Div 2A League.
Playing with a huge gale in the first half, Meath Hill could not use it to their advantage and in fact the were losing by one point, 0-4 to 0-3 at the break.
The second half was a more competitive affair, with the teams level throughout, with a well worked goal by St Pats with a few minutes remaining the key score. There was time for a penalty from Pierce McGrath for Meath Hill to bring the gap back to one, but St Pats won the resulting kick-out and worked a point to finish two point victors.
