FL Div 4: Second win for Kilbride

Kilbride 2-14 Boardsmill 0-6

Kilbride travelled to Boardsmill on Sunday in the hopes of securing their second win of the year.

The day seen sunny and dry conditions that were delivering a strong wind at the same time.

There was a nice bite to the game from the first whistle with and both teams displayed an obvious want for a win. Boardsmill were first on the score board with  2 points . Kilbride responded with scores of their own,on the 10th and 12th min of the game  however Boardsmill added to the scoreboard to see  Boardsmill leading by 2 Kilbride started to come back into the game having all the possession but no end result ontill the 22nd min we got another point followed by another score from Boardsmill  on the 25th min kilbride pulled back another point  and with the last kick of the half a high ball kicked into the square found a Kilbride player palm the ball into the net half time score 1-4 to 0-5

The second half seen both teams battle it out to take charge of the game and it was Kilbride that took charge  with points in the 4th, 6th, 8th and 9th min and then a killer blow, a well worked passage of play that ended up in the back of Boardsmill net 6 more points were well take by the Kilbride lads Boardsmill could only pull 1 point back as Kilbride emptied the bench with 10 mins to go final score Kilbride 2-14 Boardsmill 0-6
