FL Div 3: Castletown's unbeaten run continues

Castletown 0-15  Ballivor 0-06

Castletown continued there winning ways in Division 3 with this nine point victory at home to Ballivor on Sunday morning. 

The home side started the better and after 13 minutes were 4 points up with two scores from Barry Smith and one each from Damien Ginnitty and Darren Finney all from play before Ballivor opened their account with a point from play. Ballivors case wasn't helped with an early first half dismissal after 8 minutes. 

A barren spell of 5 minutes passed then Kevin Ross scored a free. Mark Kelly scored his first point from play. Ballivor responded with their second point and Mark Kelly again got on the scoreboard. Darren Finney added Castletowns last score of the half with Ballivor adding one more point in reply left the halftime score Castletown 0-8 Ballivor 0-3. 

The visitors opened the second period scoring after six minutes from a free but Castletown scored the next two in a row from Wayne Donegan on 37 minutes and Darren Finney on 47 minutes then Ballivor scored pulled one back before second half substitute Tommy Smith scored just over 10 minutes to go. Mark Kelly added 2 more points one from a free on 49 and 53 minutes, Ballivor scored their sixth and final point with 5 minutes to go. Darren Finney and Kevin Ross finished Castletowns scoring to leave the final score Castletown 0-15 Ballivor 0-6. 

Castletown now have an away trip to Blackhall Gaels in round 4 of the league.
