St Ultans 2-10 Blackhall Gaels 1-13 

Blackhall Gaels equalised deep into injury time with a goal direct from an Alan Nestor 45 to secure a share of the points in an entertaining game played in tough weather conditions in Moynalty. Blackhall opened the scoring with a point from play but Ultans dominated the first quarter with Mark Allen scoring four fine points from play and Paidin Boggins finishing low to the net after a great delivery from Ronan Breslin. Blackhall Gaels responded well before half time but long range points from Conor Smyth and Darren Mallon and a fisted effort from Breslin left the men in Green and Black four up at half time. 

Blackhall opened the scoring the 2nd half but Mark Allen replied with his fifth from play after good work from Dylan Byrne. Blackhall started to dominate but resolute defending from Ultans restricted them to more three points before midfielder Gearoid Rennicks hit the roof the Blackhall net with a shot from distance. The sides traded scores two Blackhall frees were cancelled out with two Breslin points one from distance and a fisted point. Ultans failed to take advantage of further chances and Blackhall got a free on the 30 minute mark to leave just a goal between the sides. The goal ultimately came in the sixty fourth minute to tie the match.
