Simonstown's Sean Gough and Bill Jennings Dunshaughlin contest the high ball during the Meath U19 Division 2 football final at Dunganny.

Simonstown Gaels 1-14  Dunshauglin 0-9

Simonstown Gaels under 19's produced a fine performance in Dunganny against Dunshauglin.

Simonstown began with scores from captain Michael Gavin and 'livewire' Eoghan Gough. The impressive Shane McEnery entered the scoresheet on the 8th minute mark and this left the scoreline 0-3 Simonstown 0-2 Dunshauglin. The Gaels were awarded a penalty after 10 minutes when Johnny Hand was fouled in the area. Eoghan Gough stepped up but his effort went wide. The second half began with Dunshauglin quickly getting on the scoresheet. Simonstown struggled at the beginning of the second half but 2 marvelous scores from Johnny Hand and Blessed Omorojor settled the Simonstown nerves. Shane McEnery and Kyle McEvoy traded scores between themselves for the remainder of the game and played extremly. Young Sean Kane came and quickly scoresheet.
