Brian Dowling gets in his shot for Trim against Kilmessan

Trim 5-8 Kilmessan 2-14 

Trim put in a great hour of committed hurling against Kilmessan in this Div 1 HL clash at Kilmessan. Goals win games and Trim got five in this hard but fair game of hurling. 

Well worked from Damo McGee, Andy Dinan and Jamie Hacket were vital in this win for the Town side. Brian Dowling chipped in with six points and the two Cieran's Joyce and O'Rourke chipped in with a point a piece. Kilmessan were top of the league going into this game with four wins from four games. Trim on the other hand were bottom of the league with just one point from three outings.

Trim had many stars on the night Damo McGee, Cieran Joyce and Cieran O'Rourke playing vital parts to secure victory. Special mention must go to youngster Cian Walsh who was outstanding last night in his first start for the senior team.
