Navan O'Mahonys have a chance in making a little piece of history by winning the IHC two years in a row.

The club enjoyed a very good 2017 when winning the Junior and Intermediate titles. They will face very stiff opposition from Wolfe Tones, Kilskyre/Moylagh, Na Fianna, Rathmolyon and Gaeil Colmcille. Their opening round is a repeat of last years IHC final where the Hoops needed a replay to see of Na Fianna.

Drumree and Clann Na nGael will be favourites to emerge from Group B that includes 3 second string teams.

The top three in each group will qualify for there knockout stages. A1 and B1 go to the semi final.
