Mayo - Mayo Ladies

Some very poor performances from our underage teams this year, particularly the minors, and our senior team struggling in the league, what's going on?

The U14s lost to Sligo today in the U14 B final, so neither the U14 or minor or possible the U16 will reach Connacht A finals. Worrying times for Mayo.

Well done to the Mayo ladies today...super heart and determination in that second half. First final in 10 years and what a way it would be for Cora to sign off her intercounty career.

Brilliant display by the Mayo ladies. I think it's the first time, the ladies and the men from the same Counties are meeting in an All-Ireland final.

Well done to the girls. The final will be tough and considering the opposition might very easily create a new attendance record. Hard to believe it's ten years since their last appearance... shows that they'll need to make this chance count.

Cora was outstanding but this was a brilliant team performance. Skilful and athletic and a credit to our county. Let's get behind both teams!!!!
