Ballintubber forward Cillian O'Connor is adamant that they are not just settling with reaching the Connacht club SFC final.

The Mayo champions defeated Roscommon and Connacht kingpins St Brigid's in an intriguing semi-final last weekend and now they face Corofin in the decider.

Speaking to the Western People he said: "They'd be the second team in Connacht who have almost transformed into a county set-up. We hear about them and we work with some of them and we know about the professionalism they have.

He added: "It's been a great year so far, we don't really want the journey to end to be honest. There's so much gone into this since January when I came out of the Mayo set-up I was lucky, we had serious, serious set up, serious momentum and we have absolutely everything. It wasn't the prettiest and it'll be the same again in two weeks. That'll always be our target; to give it one hell of a lash against Corofin."
