Mayo football manager John O'Mahony is reeling from news that Keith Higgins has declared himself unavailable for the 2009 national football league. The inspirational dual player is currently travelling around Australia and will be out of the country until late April at the earliest. Thus, he will play no part for O'Mahony's side in the league, but hope remains that he could still be back in time for the championship.
