Ireland Masters in control after first tests

It’s advantage Ireland heading into next weekend’s second tests in the Masters International Rules Series against Australia.

Ireland were victorious in all three first tests last Saturday. The Over 50s men’s side set the tone with a facile 63-9 victory in Curry, Co. Sligo. Down the road in Charlestown, Co. Mayo, the Irish Over 40 ladies were even more emphatic winners on a 65-9 scoreline. In the second part of the Charlestown double-header, it finished 65-23 in favour of the Irish Over 40s men.

The second tests take place in Denn, Co. Cavan next Saturday.
