The countdown is on to Saturday’s first test in the Masters International Rules Series between Ireland and Australia.

The action gets underway in Curry, Co. Sligo when the Over 50s men’s test takes place at 12 noon. The Over ladies Over 40s and men’s Over 40s tests will both take place in Charlestown, Co. Mayo at 2pm and 4pm respectively.

The second tests are fixed for Denn, Co. Cavan on Saturday week, March 16.

The GAA has ruled out a return of the International Rules Series at senior level for the foreseeable future due to a clash with club activity in the second half of the year.
