Naomh Fionnbarra club notes

September 18, 2017

There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 13th September. The winning numbers were 1, 7, 15, & 25.  There were 2 match 3 winners Conor Kearney c/o Sharon Kearney, Rachel Connor, Togher who won €75 each.  Next weeks jackpot stays at €10,000.  Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member.  Funds raised from our Lotto draw go towards the running of the club and your support is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately due to a waterlogged pitch in Haggardstown the semi final of the Intermediate Championship v O'Connells on Saturday evening was called off as the teams were conducting their warm up.  The game has been re-fixed by the CCC for next Friday evening September 22nd, venue and time to be confirmed.

Congratulations to the recent winners of our All Ireland Football Final Tickets Draws for Members of the Club:

Club Barrs Winners: Tommy Casey & Brian Casey.  Club Members Winners: Eimear McGrane & Colin McGrane.  We hope you all enjoyed the Final as Dublin made it 3 in a row and poor Mayo have to wait another year!

There are plenty of upcoming fixtures this week for supporters and players alike, please come along and support our teams if you can make it.  For more fixtures details please see local press, Louth and Proud website, the Louth GAA website and [email protected].

Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C were saddened to learn of the sudden and tragic passing yesterday evening of Naomh Martin clubman Brendan Reilly.  The club would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family, friends and clubmates of Brendan.  Brendan was a true Louth gael serving Louth, John Mitchells and Naomh Martin with distinction throughout his playing days.  May he Rest In Peace.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
