AGM: There was a small attendance at our AGM on Friday night last and there were a number of issues were discussed. The chairman thanked all who helped out during the year and also all our sponsor's for their continued support.
The following officers were elected on the night. Chairman: Seamus Cairns. Vice Chairman: Gerry McCrery. Secretary: Brian Kearney. Assistant Secretary: Malcolm McDonnell. Treasurer: Martin O'Hanrahan. Assistant Treasurer: David Neasy. P.R.O.: Aidan Murtagh. County Board Rep: Malcolm McDonnell. Youth Officer: Mark McNamee. Coaching Officer: Jackie Agnew. Cultural/ASAP Officer: Pearse McGeough.
The following were elected on the committee: Dessie Callan, Declan Hoey, Stuart Reynolds, Anthony Agnew, Jonathon Conlon, Jim Ryan, Marion Conlon, Alan McMahon, Derek Walsh and Sean Mulligan.
Manager: The senior manager for the 2015 season will be Fergus (Gus) Flynn a native of Collon and a former selector with Mattock Rangers. His selectors will be decided by the committee before the end of the year.
Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 10th December at 8.00pm, jackpot €5,300 in 48 numbers. All welcome.
Under 21: The under 21's had a big win on Friday night last against Roche Emmett's and now qualify for a semi-final meeting with St. Fechins on this Friday 12/12/14 at 8.00pm. The lads were never in trouble in this one and had a nine point lead at half time and were far too strong for the home side.

Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Saturday 20th December in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, Music by Show Bud, admission €10, loads of spot prizes and refreshments will be served.
National Club Draw: O'Connell's tickets for the national club draw are now on sale, tickets cost €10 and all money made stays with the club. There are 15 top prizes and also every ticket bought will be entered into a special club draw for 5 x €100 prizes, tickets are available from any committee member and will also be available from some of our members after the AGM. Closing date for the draw is January 24th 2015. The 15 prizes range from, two trips with the 2015 all-stars, trip to New York, travel voucher worth €1500, 2 shopping vouchers each worth €1000 at retailer of your choice, 1 All-Ireland football & hurling finals corporate package that includes 2 nights hotel accommodation for both weekends and a range of other corporate final packages and also football and hurling final packages with overnight accommodation. But the main point of this draw is that all money from ticket sales remains with our club. Your support would be very much appreciated.

Zumba-Fitness: Zumba fitness classes in our clubrooms every Tuesday at 7.00pm and again at 8.00pm with Heather Gorden 087-9835279.
Slimming World: Slimming World will be in our clubrooms every Monday from 7.00pm with consultant Kayleigh 087-0615775.
