Kilkerley U16s entertained their Roche counterparts on Monday evening in warm balmy conditions. The hosts got off to a flyer when Aidan Corrigan netted straight from the throw in. Two points followed and another goal left the Roche lads reeling with only Sean Connolly’s pointed effort their only score.

Roche gradually inched their way back into the game with some well taken scores and when team captain Ryan Martin and Eoin Maguire notched two quick goals, it edged the boys in blue ahead at the interval.

A very close second half ensued with some brilliant scores from both sides ensured the game was in the ‘mixer’ right to to wire. Some resolute defending coupled with some timely points edged the lads from Castleroche over the line on a scoreline 3-10 to 3-7.

For the winners, Finn Conlon and Callum Grant performed heroics  in defence while Matthew McArdle and Sean Connolly put in lungbursting displays at midfield.  Andrew McKay and DD Reilly continually tormented the Kilkerley defence with sharpshooter Eoin Maguire the chief benefactor.

U14 Boys League 6th August 2020

Our U15 boys played Oliver Plunketts at home Wednesday evening. Our boys put in a super performance given their depleted numbers, the visiting side returned home as victors.

U12 Girls League 

Under 12 girls had their first outing against a very well organised St Joseph's team.

All 15 girls played their hearts out and got loads of game time.

Our U7's had a blitz on Sunday morning in Naomh Malachi. There was 11 Roche children there and they all played brilliantly. Their training continues on saturday mornings at 11am, new players welcome.

Annual Flag Day
