Under 11 Winter Programme, Friday 18/10/19 Darver, 7.00pm: Under 13 Division 2A Final, Monday 21/10/19, O’Connells/Stabannon/Mitchels v St. Fechins, Home, 7.00pm. 

Quiz Night: There will be a general knowledge quiz on Friday 18th October at 8pm in our clubrooms. €40 per team of four, pay at the door, refreshments severed on the night and bar open+ music afterwards. All welcome. 

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 16th October at 8.00pm, jackpot €5,500 in 48 numbers. 

Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Saturday 19th October in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, music by Done & Dusted, admission €10 and refreshments will be served. 

Leinster: The draw for the 2020 Leinster Senior Football Championship has been made and Louth will play Longford and the winners will play Laois in the quarter finals. Dublin will begin their quest for 10 in a row Leinster titles away to Westmeath in the quarter finals. 

Halloween: Kids Fancy Dress Halloween Disco on Sunday 27th October in our clubrooms from 6pm-8.30pm. Best dressed prizes and free treats on the night, €5 entry €10 per family, all proceeds go towards O’Connells GFC juvenile teams. Sponsored by Connect Credit Union, don’t forget to enter Connect Credit Unions Photo Competition on the night to win some Smyth’s Vouchers. 

Bursary: The 2019 Louth GAA /Charlie McAlester Annual Bursary Scheme are now open for applications. The application forms are on the Louth GAA website and the completed form can be forwarded to County Secretary, Fra Kieran, 79 Willow Grove, Carrick Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth or to [email protected]. The closing date is 23rd October. 

New Grounds: Louth GAA will launch a ‘dual house draw’ this month in a bid to raise finance for their €12 million stadium development in Dundalk. It is hoped all 40 Louth clubs will partake in the fundraiser, with tickets costing €100 each, although there will be no commission or bonuses for doing so. The prizes are a house in Blackrock and another in Drogheda. Up to a maximum of 25,000 tickets will be made available for purchase, roughly 20 percent of which will be put for sale online, between October and next Easter. 

Slimming World: Slimming World will be in our clubrooms every Monday from 7.00pm with consultant Aveen 087-3620348.
