Sheelan Cup: We got our first win of the season last Saturday night when we had five points to spare over St. Patricks in Darver. The lads played really well and even dough they played against the wind in the first half, were only three points behind at half time. The second half performance was great from every player including all the substitutes. Anytime you get a win against the men from Lordship no matter what the competition or the time of year is well earned so well done to all involved.

Membership: Club membership is now due and can be paid up until 31st March. The fee's for 2018 are adult €40, OAP and U16 to U18 €20, please contact our membership officer Joanne O'Dwyer 087-6254728 or any committee member. You can now also pay your membership through the new GAA membership APP available to download from the APP store.

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 14th March at 8.00pm, jackpot €3,200 in 48 numbers.

Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Saturday 17th March St. Patrick's night in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, music by Declan Aungier, admission €10 and refreshments will be served.

 

Dinner Dance: O'Connells championship winning presentation dinner dance will take place on Sunday 1/4/18 Easter Sunday in our clubrooms at 8.00pm sharp. Music by The Great Escape, tickets €30 available from any committee member.

 

Draws: The draws for the Louth GAA Championships were made last Thursday night in Darver and we are in group 4 along with our neighbours St. Josephs and O'Raghallaighs. The other three groups have put together some big match up's to look forward too. Group 1, Dreadnots, St. Marys & Sean O'Mahonys. Group 2, Newtown Blues, Naomh Mairtin & Kilkerley Emmets. Group 3, Geraldine's, St. Patricks & Dundalk Gaels.
