The Longford senior football championship semi-finals are due to take place in the coming weeks.

Following last weekend's quarterfinals, there are four teams left in the SFC as the defending champions Mullinalaghta overcame Killoe after a replay.

They will now face Clonguish who won their quarterfinal the previous week. In the other semi-final Mostrim will face Abbeylara.

Mullinalaghta and Clonguish will meet on Saturday, September 16th, while the second semi-final will take place on Saturday, September 23rd, with the final pencilled in for Sunday October 8th.
