Rathcline GAA Galway Race Day - Our annual Galway Race day will take place Monday 27th July. The club hope to replicate the success of last year's event. The occasion will present our parishioners, members, supporters and friends a fantastic afternoon of hospitality and horse racing on opening day of the 2015 festival. Tickets are priced €100 and are available on a first come first served basis and must be paid for upfront. The €100 tickets includes admission to races with race card, free parking, location in main pavilion "The new Killanin Stand" overlooking the finish line with spectacular views, a four course meal, one free drink, tipsters in pavilion, bar facilities, tote in the pavilion and after meal entertainment. 50/50 Draw - Congratulations to Padraig Hanly, Lisinaria, Roscommon who was last week's winner of €429 in our 50/50 draw. The draw takes place every Monday night at 9pm with this week's draw taking place in the Peer Inn.
Commiserations to both the Longford Seniors who were beaten by Kildare in the qualifiers on Saturday evening and to the Longford Minors and Kevin Sorohan who were also beaten by Kildare in the Leinster Minor final.
Intermediate & Junior Championships - With the Longford team now out of the championship, in the coming weeks our intermediate and junior teams will be in action in their first championship games of the year. Ed Sheeran tickets - The club are holding a draw for two premium level tickets for the much sought after and sold out Ed Sheeran concert on Saturday 25th July in Croke Park. Cards are available in local businesses and lines only cost €2. The draw will take place in Adie's next Saturday night July 18th.
Minor Club
Western Gaels U14 'B' Championship - The team are away to Northern Gaels in round 2 of the 'B' Championship in The Laurels on Tuesday 14th July at 7.30pm.
Shannon Gaels U10's - There will be a blitz in Ardagh on Wednesday 15th of July at 7pm.
Ladies Club
Hard luck to the senior ladies team who were beaten by Clonguish on Friday night in the championship. Next up for the girls is Killoe on Sunday 26th July in Clonbonny.
