Enda Williams will not be available to Longford for Saturday's SF Qualifier against Clare in Ennis.

The experienced defender has left for New York, having been an intergal part of the midlanders set-up for the best part of a decade. However, the former Leitrim player had only featured briefly as a substitute in one of his county's three championship outings to date this summer.

Meanwhile, corner back Cian Farrelly is once more available to manager Jack Sheedy, having returned from the US. Farrelly departed after the Leinster quarter-final loss to Dublin and missed the first-round Qualifier against Carlow.
