Longford forward Brian Kavanagh is currently in third place in the GAA/GPA Golden Boot award race.
Kavanagh has amassed 0-10 in two games in the championship so far and with Carlow in the qualifiers to come, the Longford sharpshooter should be in the top placings for a while yet.
Leading the way is Laois' Donie Kingston who has amassed 0-16, while in second place is Galway's Damien Comer with 0-11.
