Longford manager Jack Sheedy is confident that his side have put their NFL final defeat to Offaly behind them.
The sides meet in the Leinster SFC this Saturday evening just a matter of weeks after the Faithful County hammered Sheedy's charges in the Croke Park decider.
However, Sheedy stressed to the Longford Leader that there is little to separate a number of sides in the province on any given day.
"I keep saying it that there is very little between a number of teams, it's all about the attitude you bring on the day," said Sheedy.
"I felt we were in a good position going into the league final but Offaly probably had a little more to fight for. Croke Park is done with now and the focus is on Saturday and putting in a good performance in the belief that we can get the better of Offaly in the match that really matters."
