Devlin points to unity

April 16, 2015

Longford manager Tony Devlin believes that there is great unity between his minor charges and management team.

The Midlanders had a poor Leinster League campaign, but schools football in the county is certainly on the rise in recent years.

Devlin works alongside Eugene McCormack, Colin Dalton and Michael Kenny and he admitted to the Longford Leader that work well as a team.

"It is a team effort rather than any one individual. We discuss things, have regular meetings and we analyse the players," said Devlin.

"We get on well together and everyone brings their expertise to the job. It's a matter of them getting their message across and the players should benefit from that for the championship campaign."
