Congratulations to our Juvenile team who won the Championship Shield on Saturday last defeating Granard/Ballymore after extra time in what was a highly entertaining game. Colmcille led at half time but Granard/Ballymore fought back in the second half aided by the breeze and they led going into injury time. Colmcille worked a fine score to equalise and send the game to extra time. Our lads showed great fitness and resolve to push on in extra time, scoring a crucial goal and winning out on a final score of 1-15 to 1-10. Well done to both teams. It was a great week for this group with many of them also involved in last weeks Minor B Championship victory. Our U21 team lost to Longford Slashers on Saturday evening in the Championship Group Stage, Longford Slashers 4-8 Colmcille 0-9.

The Parish league finals take place next Sunday in McGee Park from 12pm. The Shield Final will see Team B take on Team C with Team A vs Team D in the Cup Final. Refreshments will be available on the day and we hope to see a big turnout to support our youngsters.

Colmcille Ladies Gaelic Football Club are holding a fundraising Fancy Dress party in Murtaghs Lounge Aughnacliffe on Friday 31st October starting at 9pm. Music on the night will be provided by the very popular Rhythm and Sticks. Admission is optional and there will be cash prizes of €100 each for best male and best female fancy dress. A great night's entertainment is guaranteed. Put on your costume, bring a few friends along and join the fun! All support is greatly appreciated.
