Rathcline GAA Notes

March 30, 2014
Reserve League 2 football resumes this coming weekend when we face Carrickedmond on Saturday evening April 5th at 7pm in Michael Moran Park, Carrickedmond. We would ask all players to make themselves available for this. Training continues as usual this week and we hope to see big numbers turning out.
Our Croagh Patrick sponsored climb will take place Saturday 10th May. A great day and night was had by all who attended last year and we hope that this year will be bigger and better than last year. Sponsorship cards are available from this week onwards from any member of the executive for anyone who is interested in this challenge.
There was no winner of our weekly lotto jackpot of €1000. The winning lotto numbers were 5, 12, 19, 21, 29, 45. The €25 winners were Thomas Nolan - Derryadd, Co. Longford, Pat & Eileen Mullen - Moher, Lanesboro, Pat Connelly - Gurteengar, Lanesboro and Gerry O'Donnell - Curraghroe, Co. Roscommon. Next week's jackpot will be €1100.

Minor Club
Preparations and rehearsals are in full swing for the variety concert which will take place in St. Mary's Parish Hall on Saturday night April 12th at 8.30pm. This promises to be a great night with lots of local talent on view and Mrs. Brown herself making an appearance! The minor club has put on some great entertainment down through the years with the notable Search For A Star which attracted great audiences. This promises to be a tremendous night, a night where everyone should make an effort to attend, as it will showcase what's best about our parish from young and old! Tickets are priced at €10 and are on sale from O'Brien's and Cullen's.
