A return to the U18 minor grade could be on the cards if a Longford motion is passed at Congress in February.

At last week’s Longford convention, a Killoe Emmet Og proposal to revert back to U18 from U17 was passed with 100% support from delegates.

Despite the introduction of the new U17 and U20 grades last year, some counties continue to run U18 and U21 competitions in tandem with competitions in the new age groups.
