Emmet Og club notes

August 12, 2019

Marie Brady Rose Of Tralee Journey:

Next Sunday Marie leaves the parish to start her Rose of Tralee journey ending up in Tralee. On behalf of the Club we wish her a very enjoyable and memorable experience and know that she will do Longford and Killoe proud. We look forward to seeing her on our tv screens the end of August. When we know what night she is on we will have it on our facebook page. Best of luck again Marie.

Football:

Our Junior team team had a good win in the Championship against Legan Sarsfields on a scoreline of Legan Sarsfiels 1-13 to Killoe 4-8. This leaves our Junior team in a strong position. If we win our final game in the group stages we will qualify for the semi-final of the Junior Championship.

Our Senior Championship game against Abbeylara was postponed due to the adverse weather conditions.

Please check fixture list for game for next weekend.

Championship Draw:

The draw for the Senior Championship was held in Colmcille on Sunday evening. Killoe have been drawn against Dromard in the quarter finals.
