Claughaun GAA club notes

September 19, 2017

Our intermediate hurlers played Drom/Broadford on Sunday last in the County Cup. In a close game we finished up losing 2 13 to 2 15.

Our Under 13 hurlers, Southside Gaels, had a great win over Pallasgreen on Wednesday last winning on a score of 2 08 to 1 02. They played Cappamore this Monday eveing but lost 2 07 to 5 08. They are down to play Kilpeacon this Wednesday and hopefully get back on track. Well done to all involved.

The under 16 hurlers, Southside Gaels, are down to play Granagh/Ballingarry in the county semi final. The Claughaun Under 16 footballers have qualified for the shield semi final where they will play Galbally.

Our Intermediate footballers will play St Senan's in the County semi final this Friday, in Mick Neville park, at 8.15pm. When we met in the first round we lost by two point's and will be hoping to turn that result around in this next encounter. I would urge all Claughaun supporters to come out and get behind the team this Friday evening.
