Killeedy U8s and U10s welcomed Tralee Parnells for a blitz last Saturday. Also welcomed were Tournafulla U8s and Feohanagh U10s.

U8: Killeedy had the numbers to field two teams. Each getting a chance to play Tralee Parnells and Tournafulla .

U10: Tralee Parnells came with large numbers. Splitting into two teams, they played off two matches each against our own Killeedy~Tournafulla U10s and Feohanagh.

Padraig Ahern organised to have the Limerick U21 Munster cup on view for the occasion.

Tralee Parnells are part of Croke Parks healthy clubs initiative, as are Killeedy. Killeedy GAA Health and Wellbeing were on hand to provide Healthy Treats and Fruit for all visitors. Good feedback from visiting parents that there were healthy treats available to the children.

Message from Ger Donnellan Tralee Parnells club:

On behalf of Tralee Parnells Hurling Club we would like to thank you on a great morning of hurling. Judging on the boys reaction on the bus home plus the texts from their parents they enjoyed it extremely. As ye know our club is young and to be invited to a club like yer own to pit our skill against Limerick talent is massive. It's days like this that build our club. Please pass on our thanks to the other clubs. Also pass on our thanks to the catering crew, it was a mighty spread. Hats off and many thanks to a great day. Your club and boys are a credit to your hard work. We'll organise a return trip soon.
