Killeedy GAA Club would like to again extend our deepest sympathies to the Mulcahy family on the death of Nellie, may she rest in peace.

Limerick U25s

Congratulations to Limerick U25's on a great win over Waterford and claiming the first U25 Hurling provincial championship.

 

Limerick U21s

Best of luck to Limerick Hurlers this Thursday evening at 7.30pm in the Gaelic Grounds when they play in the Bord Gais Energy Munster U21's Championship. Padraig Ahern and Cian Magner Flynn from Killeedy are both on the panel.

 

Johnny Magner Memorial Cup - Saturday 17th June

Killeedy GAA held it's inaugural Johnny Magner Memorial Cup last Saturday. Killeedy played Last year's Junior-b all-Ireland winners, Shanballymore (Cork).

Shanballymore won on the day with a scoreline of Shanballymore 0-20(20) v Killeedy 1-8(11).

Killeedy GAA Golf Classic:

Launch night las Friday night 16th June.

In advance of our inaugural Golf classic event, an evening was held in the NCW golf course in Ardagh. A number of people attended and supported the even, including a representative from out Sponsor Geary Car sales. presentation of the prizes

The day itself: Friday 7th July

Killeedy GAA Golf Classic. Friday 7th July In Newcastle West Golf Club, Ardagh, Co. Limerick.

3 Ball Champagne Scramble. ...the team will use the best drive & then play their own shots to their own GUI handicap . 2 scores count at par 4 & 5. Each Drive to count at Par 3.

Where a person doesn't have a GUI handicap play off 16.

The cost is €50 per person ...team of three, €150 euro. This includes a main course afterwards in the clubhouse.

First tee-time at 11:03hrs, last tee-time at 15:51hrs. However, as of today,  Tee Times between 11am and 1.30pm left.

€1,000 worth of prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

Presentation of prizes at 9pm that night in the Clubhouse with musical entertainment.

Nordic Pole Walking -

Perfect exercise for people with Arthritis and people with Balance problems. Tonight is the last or our planned five week programme. You are still welcome to come along and join us to see what it's all about.

 

Couch to 5K / Walk to 5K:

Couch to 5K on Tuesdays from 7pm-8pm in Raheenagh. All levels of fitness / abilities. Everyone Welcome. 6 Week Programme.

Limerick Sports Partnership are providing a Leader for a few weeks.

 

"Friday Morning Stroll":

Starting Friday 9th June between 9.20am-10.20am for 3 weeks. This "stroll" is suitable for all levels of fitness and is "buggy friendly". Suitable for Parents after morning school drop.

The Plan is to do a relaxed walk and have a tea/coffee afterwards. Week 1 will be an information session and a short walk. Meet at Carpark in Raheenagh. All Welcome. Contact email:[email protected] / 087 1214920 for more information or just turn up on the day.

Killeedy National Bike Week Event:

Sunday 18th June with funding provided by Limerick Smarter Travel, saw a large group of Klilleedy parishioners, young an old take to the roads on their bikes.
