New Senior Football Manager

It's that time of year again, when a new eagerly anticipated season is just around the corner. The Club are very pleased to announce that Moss McCarthy will take over the mantle of the Senior Footballers and will continue to be backed by Joe Roe and Barry O'Riordan. Moss will make the short journey from his native Drom\Broadford, who he has been involved with in various roles over the years. Moss has also been involved with St Pat's in recent years who featured in a County final and was also involved in the Limerick U21 Football setup a few years back. Best of luck to Moss, Joe and Barry on the season ahead. The Club would also like to wish Brian Nolan all the best for the season ahead. Brian has decided to focus on Gerald Griffins for the 2017 season after being promoted to the Intermediate Championship. Best of luck to both teams.

Junior Hurling

The club are actively looking for a management team for our Junior Hurlers for 2017. If you are interested in getting involved, please let us know.

U21 & Minor Hurling

We will be entering combined teams with our neighbours Croagh/Kilfinny in both of these competitions in 2017. Again we are actively seeking people to get involved in the management of both these teams. If you are interested in the job, please don't be shy.

Senior Football Championship Draw

The Senior Football Championship Draw was recently made and as you would expect we were handed a tough group which is to be expected at senior grade. We have been grouped with the following teams, with the match dates yet to be finalized:

Drom\Broadford

Na Piarsaigh

Adare

Fr Caseys

Monaleen

Club Membership 2017

Club membership for the 2017 season is now due. Rates for the upcoming season are as follows: Adult €50, Under-18 €20, and a family rate of €70. The rate for non-playing adult members will remain at €30. This represents good value in comparison to membership costs in other clubs across the county. All players must pay their membership prior to taking part in any games or training. This will be strictly enforced this year so make sure you contact Philip O'Donnell, who is the club registrar again for 2017, before training commences. We are taking this matter very serious this year and you simply won't play if you haven't paid, players are also going to ensure that their fellow players have paid so no excuses.
