VICTORY BALL

The club held its victory ball on Saturday night to hail what has been an outstanding year.

The Strand Hotel was the venue of choice and what a night was had.

Our senior hurlers arrived looking fierce dapper in black tie to mark what is now an historic occasion and one in which we are extremely proud of.

The crowd of over 400 were treated to some excellent menus along with champagne reception.

Not alone were the senior hurlers being hailed but our victorious Minor, Under 21 and Junior hurlers were also in attendance to mark what has been another outstanding year for the club.

Following the presentation of medals the band The Pearls entertained the crowd with some excellent music.

Many thanks to Murty O Donoghue , Barry O Regan and Kevin Downes for organising  a wonderful event.

To the Strand and staff for an excellent night and Keith Wiseman for photography.

On a personal note I would like to thank the players for arising from their beds to pose for the official team photo on the Sunday in the club.

I hope the photo can do justice to what is a remarkable achievement by a brilliant team of players and management.
