Kenmare got their hands on the Munster Club IFC silverware today thanks to a 1-20 to 1-8 victory over Adare in Mallow.
Captained by Kerry star Stephen O'Brien, Kenmare put down a large deposit on their success during a first-half which finished with them 1-11 to 0-5 to the good.
14 minutes had elapsed on the clock before Adare opened their account through Mark Connolly while Sean O'Shea netted the winners' goal in the 24th minute.
Connolly pulled a goal back for the Limerick standard bearers with seven minutes left on the clock but their woes were compounded when Denis Cronin picked up a red card shortly after.
Kenmare's reward is an All-Ireland Club IFC date with 'Footballer of the Year' Lee Keegan and Westport.
