Notes for Wednesday and Thursday 25th and 26th of November 2015

Result:

U21 Premier Football Championship Group 3 Round 2

Oola    2-9
Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-7

This was a very tight game with Oola scoring two goals in the first half of the game which was the difference between the sides at end of the game, Oola led at the break by 2-5 to 0-3 and then in the second half both sides scored four points each to make Oola win by eight points on the night.

Oola scored the first goal of the game and then Cillian Fahy scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave two points between the sides.  Oola scored the next two points and then Billy Foley of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point of the game to leave a goal between the sides.  Oola scored the next 1-3 of the game and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next coming from Cillian Fahy just before the break to leave eight points between the sides at end of the half.  To leave the score at half-time Oola 2-5 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-3.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first two points of the second half coming from Patrick Stack and Daniel Curtin to leave two goals between the sides and then Oola scored the next point of the game.  Cillian Fahy scored his third point of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave two goals between the sides once again and then Oola scored another point.  Damien Lacey scored a point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave two goals between the sides once again and then Oola scored the last two points of the game to win by eight points at end of the game.  To leave the score at full-time Oola 2-9 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-7.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

Results of the 179th draw took place on Monday Night last November 23rd, in O'Shea's Bar, Dromcollogher and the numbers drawn were: 2, 8, 22, and 31, there was no winner of the jackpot of €1,200 and there was two winners of Match three at €100 and they each got €50 and they were: Cassie O'Connor, Freemount and Joan Stokes, Glenduff, Broadford and the two lucky dips winners of €50 each were: Pat Glavin, Castleishion, Dromcollogher and Joan Browne, Killeedy and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday night November 30th, in The Green Bar,  Dromcollogher, at 9.30pm sharp, with the jackpot going up to €1,300 (win or share) and with the match three staying at €100 (win or share).  Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.
