U8 Hurling Blitz

On Friday night last our U8 hurlers played a blitz in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale organised  by the County Board.  This was a very wet night but our lads did not take any notice of the rain.  we played Newcastle west in the first game as the game went on our players started to improve in their performance. After Newcastle getting 2 goals in the first 10 minutes or boys fought back to level up the match before the final whistle.  The second game for us was a match up with Croagh/ Kilfinny our boys fought well but the Croagh/ Kilfinny won this game by a couple of goals.  On our third and final game we played our neighbours Killeedy.  This game was a tough battle with all our players playing well. We scored a couple of goals and won this match.  Well done to all the players and credit to all the supporters to keep cheering the players on in all there 3 matches.  Even though it was pouring rain down on top of them.  The list of players on the night were: Bobby Gure, Gavin Farrell, Shane Browne,  Rory O' Dell, Alex O'Dell, Colin Burke, Adam O' Kelly, James Stack, Ollie Brudair.
