St Patrick's G.A.A. Club Notes

Junior Hurlers:
Our junior hurlers continue their winning ways in the City Hurling Championship. In last Saturday evening's game against Ballybrown played in Rathbane we defeated Ballybrown by 4-16 to 0-10. Ahead at the half time break by 3-07 to 0-06 our hurlers had a comfortable victory and are noe on top of this championship league with four points from two games. Our scorers on the night were Jason Mullins (1-08), Wayne Cronin, (2-00), Patrick Mullins (1-02), Brendan Mullins (0-02), Gearoid Hegarty (0-02) & Mark Kiely (0-02). We lined out as follows David Geary, Jack Greenwood, Mark Phelan, Joe Ryan, Niall Phelan, Gearoid Hegarty, Andrew Hannigan, Brendan Mullins, Gearoid Phelan, Patrick Mullins, Waynes Cronin, John Mullane, Craig Rochford, Mark Kiely and Jason Mullins. Subs used were Shane McNamara for Mark Kiely, Gavin Mullins for Craig Rochford, Barry O Doherty for Mark Phelan and Tony Quigley for Jason Mullins. Next game will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd August against Patrickswell in Clarina at 7pm
This Weekend:
No senior or junior matches for this weekend but plenty on the underage side.
U14s:
Our U14s are out in Murroe for the Football Division 2B Championship this Wednesday evening throw in at 7.15.
U12s:
U12s are up against Kilteely on Thursday
U8s:
U8s playing a Blitz in UL on Friday evening. Cul Camp etc.
Fundraising Event:
St Patrick's GAA club have secured dates at the Parkway Shopping Centre for our latest Fundraising Event of lucky first goal All-Ireland Senior hurling final Scratchcards. Please contact Club Secretary if you wish to help out with this.

Groody Girls:
Well done to Groody Gaels on playing their first match together as a joined club with Monaleen tonight unfortunately they lost by 3-03 to 1-04 but never gave up to the final whistle.
Cúl  Camp:
The St Patrick's Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camp will run from Monday August 10th and Friday 14th from 10am and will finish each day at 2.30pm in St Patrick's Field Rhebogue. Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camps provide boys and girls with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games. Attendance is open to primary school children aged 6 years to 13 years. Cost €55 per child, 2nd Child €45, 3rd & 4th Child €40. Each Child that attends the Camp will receive the new Cúl Camp Kit for 2015 and the Camp Bag in Limerick County colours. Senior Footballers:
Footballers are training away getting ready for the upcoming championship game v Monaleen on weekending August 6th In the City senior football championship we are due to play Mungret in the semi final no fixture date yet confirmed.
Junior B Footballers:
On this Thursday evening our junior Bfootballers are home to Claughaun in the City Junior B football championship after givin a walkover to Ballybrown last week due to players been on holidays we can't afford to give a second walkover throw in time for this game is at 7pm.
Minor Football:
Minor footballers will train on Wednesday next July 29th at 7pm next minor football championship game will take place in Rhebogue on Friday 31st July against Fr Casey's
Congratulations:
Congratulations to Gearoid Hegarty who had a great game against Tipperary in the Munster U21 hurling championship semi final last Thursday evening in Limerick Gaelic Grounds Gearoid you showed the wonderful talent that you have, to play in both Munster U21 Hurling and Football championships in 2015. All in St Patrick's are very proud of you Well Done
Best of Luck:
Best of luck to the Limerick under 21 hurlers and to Gearoid Hegarty in the Munster U21 hurling final on Thursday 31th July when Limerick will face Clare at Cusack Park.
