Charity Cycle

The 5th annual Glin Knights Charity Cycle in association with the Nano Nagle School and Glin GAA will be taking place on August 15th this year. We will have two routes again in 2015.

The 70 k route is as follows: starting in Glin, Tarbert, Moyvane, Knockanure, Athea, Ardagh, Shanagolden, Foynes, Loughill and finishing in Glin.

The 120 k cycle route is as follows: starting in Glin, Tarbert, Moyvane, Knockanure, Athea, Abbeyfeale, Killaughteen, Old Mill, Ardagh, Rathkeale, Askeaton, Foynes, Loughill and finishing in Glin.

It caters for every category of cyclists. Water stops will be provided for in Athea and Foynes while a food stop will be provided for in Ardagh. The route is a challenging one with some tough hills but some beautiful scenery coming along the Shannon and when you're finished, you'll know you've been on a good spin for a great cause. Registration will take place in Barrett's Bar from 8.30am on the day, with the cycle beginning at 10.00am.

Sponsorship cards are available from any member of Glin GAA and local businesses. Immediately after the cycle there will be food in Barrett's Bar and music and craic until the small hours in O'Shaughnessy Bar later on that evening. All your support will be greatly appreciated.

Club Limerick Draw
Congratulations to Tommy Wallace on winning €250 in the June Club limerick draw.
Fixtures
The Intermediate team are due to face Cappamore in Rd 4 of the Intermediate Championship on the w/e of Aug 7th-9th.The Junior B team's next outing is in the semifinal of the West C'ship on the w/e of Aug 7th-9th also. Venues, dates and times will be confirmed over the next few weeks.
