CITY JUNIOR A HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP Ballybrown 0-10 St. Patricks 4-16 Ballybrown went down to a very heavy defeat on Saturday evening in the first round of this years Junior hurling championship. The halftime score was 3-07 to 0-06. They are out again on Saturday 25th July against Crecora

CITY JUNIOR B HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP Ballybrown 2-10 NaPiarsaigh 1-15 Ballybrown were a little unlucky not to have got something out of this game. The half time score was 1-06 to 0-05 in favour of NaPiarsaigh, and they extended their lead out to six points before Ballybrown hit back. A goal from Gregory Crosse followed by Mark Burnes again finding the back of the net only to be pulled back for a free in which we scored a point from to leave two points between the teams. Ballybrown were on top now and a second goal and a point had us ahead for the first time in the game. NaPiarsaigh got two points but Ballybrown responded with two points of their own to maintain the two point advantage. However NaPiarsaigh with many of their minor and under 21 players got on top again and in the last few minutes with our lads tiring scored four unanswered points to run out winners by two points. Next up we play Monaleen in Clarina next Sunday.

UNDER 10 HURLING BLITZ Our under 10 team played in a very successful blitz in UL. They played Fedamore Kildimo and Ballinacurra and won all three games.

UNDER 14 HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP Ballybrown travelled to Adare on Monday evening and recorded a big win in the County Championship

UNDER 16 HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP Ballybrown 4.11 St. Patricks 3.09 A great game of hurling in Ballybrown with great scores from both teams saw Ballybrown come out on top. Next up we play Dromcollogher Broadford on Monday 20 July at home in football

MINOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP Ballybrown travel to Cappamore in this refixture on Friday 24th July
