Results
U11 Hurling
Last week we lined out against Drom Broadford and we had a fine tough game. Scores were tight on the night and we were only beaten by one score in the finish. Well done to our U11's for the final score line of St Kieran's 2 1 Drom Broadford 3-1. So looking forward to the next U11 game and we ask for all U11 kids to come to this.

U12 Hurling
Last week we travelled to Templeglantine and had a very enjoyable match. Conditions were tough on the night with wind a big factor. However we played some good hurling overall and on the day we proved too strong for Glantine. We finished out winners by 1 4 to 0 1.

U14 Football County Championship
Last week saw us start our U14 county campaign, firstly at home to Galbally and then away to Mungret. In our second time to meet Galbally this year we showed well and despite trailing by 2 points at half time we rallied well and ended up outscoring Galbally in the second half to earn a good draw, scoring 2 8 to Galbally 3 5. Mungret last Monday turned out to be a much different game. We dominated from the start and although Mungret scored the first goal of the match to lead by one point in the first 5 minutes our boys did not panic and began to assert their dominance. In fact this was Mungrets only score for the next 40 minutes until they scored a goal from a 16 yard free late in the second half. We dominated the match and ended winning well by  a score line of 5 15 to 2 goals.  A good start to the campaign. Next up for the 14's is hurling this Friday as per the fixtures list.
Congratulations
Congratulations to Daniel Geraghty and Conor Woulfe who did themselves and St Kieran's proud on the west limerick Mackey schools team. Well done boys! Also congratulations to the Newcastle West U16 County Camogie Champions for 2015. Many of these girls started with U6's and U8's with St. Kieran's underage so we are delighted to see them do so well. Well done girls, brilliant match and another great result for the west.
