LOTTO


Our weekly lotto draw was held last Monday and the following numbers were drawn 5, 9, 15, 26.

We had no jackpot winner but four lucky dip winners were David Monahan, Pat Higgins, David O Sullivan, Una O Connor.

Sellers prize went to Bernie Buckley and Kevin O Connor took the house draw.

Next weeks jackpot will be £20,000


50K CYCLE,10K RUN,5K WALK


Our big fundraising event is gathering momentum and we ask everyone to spread the word.

In association with Blood Bike Midwest the club are hosting a 50K cycle along with an AAI approved 10k fun run and family orientated 5K walk.

Music by Lorcan Murray and JP Dillon along with warm up by Daragh Droog. Category prizes and finger food on the day also

JUNIOR B HURLERS


Na Piarsaigh 1-14 Patrickswell 2-12

Top of the group heading into this clash and a guaranteed semi final berth probably against Crecora.

We struggled in the opening half and took a while to find our feet.

We trailed at the break by eight points but on the change of ends showed a great appetite for the contest and slowly ate in the Well's lead to draw level with 10 minutes remaining.

However we just fell short in the finish losing by the slenderist of margins.

Best performers on the day were Dean McLoughlin, Brian Buckley, Evan O Brien, Daragh Laffan and Noel Shannon who scored our goal.

SENIOR FOOTBALLERS


Our Senior footballers were back in League action following recent championship performance.

Their opponents this time were Dromcollogher Broadford.

We began well and had goals from Mike Roberts and Evan Egan in the first half to put us in the driving seat.

We led at the break 2-6 to 0-6 having played well especially Cian Coady, Eoin Hogan and Cathal Minihane to the fore.

We added some very good points to our tally to run out two point victors 2-11 to 1-12

we wish young Declan Stack well following a nasty injury.
