Limerick hurlers continue their preparations for the Munster SHC with a challenge against Galway this weekend.

The sides meet at Na Piarsaigh's GAA grounds in Caherdavin on Saturday evening and the throw in is scheduled for 7pm.

The Shannonsiders are sweating over the fitness of goalkeeper Nicky Quaid and team captain Donal O'Grady who are both in a race against time to be fit for the clash against Clare.

Limerick really need to step up their preparations after a poor league campaign which ended with a heavy defeat to Dublin in the league semi-final.
