Limerick Development Draw

The club would like to thank all members who participated in the Limerick Development draw for 2014. A small number of members have yet to pay for 2014 and we would be grateful if any unpaid member could contact Ivan Neary on 087-6577541 to arrange payment. This draw is a major source of revenue for the club and we need as many club members and supporters as possible to get involved for 2015. There will be 10 monthly draws from March until December with the top prize each month of €13,000. Entry to the draw is just €10 per month or €100 annually. Any person who wishes to join as a new member for 2015 can also contact Ivan on this number.

Club Membership
Club membership is currently being collected at the moment. The membership cost for an adult stands at €25, student €15, Minor €10 or a family membership at €40. It is important to note that any player who fails to pay their membership will not be covered for any medical expenses incurred while playing matches or training. Therefore any player who has not paid for membership to the club will not be allowed to play in any games until done so. The membership is being collected by Ian Mackassey who can be contacted on 087-6649706. Ian will also have membership forms that must be completed.

Inter-County
Darragh Treacy and Johnny McCarthy were both in action for the Limerick Senior footballers on Sunday last when they defeated Clare in the National League in Newcastle West. Johnny lined out in his customary full-back spot while Darragh was positioned at centre-forward against the Banner men. Both acquitted themselves well in the 2-10 to 1-05 victory. Louth provide the opposition on Sunday next in the last round of the National League; a must win game for Limerick if they are to retain their Division 3 status for 2016. We wish Darragh, Johnny and the panel all the best in this crucial game.

U14 Challenge Match
On Sunday 29th March a panel of 20 players travelled to Castleisland to play Castleisland Desmonds. Conditions were tough and we meet a fine physical Kerry team. They provided our lads with a good tough practice session before our Feile semifinal next weekend. We would ask as many supporters as possible to go to Mick Neville this 5th April at 3 pm to support our boys who are trying to qualify for the Feile Final for a second year in a row. It is great for the boys to hear supporters shouting for them on the day.
Under 8 hurling & Football
If there are any parent/parents willing to manage the U8 this year please contact Deirdre Ambrose 087 9509218 or David Woulfe 086 2205572. If 2 or 3 parents get involved it will be no great workload for anyone and it is enjoyable and rewarding work which hugely benefits our children. There are many supports available, including coaching training,  and David Woulfe will be organising the rota again this year to help out the mentors at training.
