Caherline GAA notes
March 02, 2015LOTTO: No Jackpot winner last week so this week's jackpot €4050.This week's draw will take place on Friday 6th March in Tower bar Ballybrood Caherconlish. Tickets cost just €1 and are on sale in the local pubs, post office and all committee and club Officials. Club thanks all who support the lotto every week.
INTERMEDIATES: Intermediates started back training in the gaa field last week as they had two sessions under new coach for 2015 Alan Browne. We wish the Intermediates coach, management and players all the best for the coming season.
U21S: Under 21s will play their second game this coming Sunday 8th March against Staker Wallace in Caherline gaa field at 12 midday.
All support appreciated.
U16S: U16s this year will play in Division 3 15 a side championship. Manager is Patrick Coffey along with selectors Michael Murnane and Sean McKenna. Teams in our division are as follows, Shamrock Gaels, Knockainey , Kilteely- Dromkeen , Hospital Heberstown ,Glenroe and Ballybricken-Bohermore. They have recently returned to the handball alley in Caherline for preseason training.
U15S: U15s for 2015 will play in Division 2 15 a side . In the group we will play the following Kildimo-Pallaskenry , Claughan , Murroe -Boher
U14S: U14s have been back in training for the past few weeks as they have a Feile B game this Saturday 7th March at 4pm V Naomh Brid the venue for this game has yet to be decided. In the championship we will play in Division 3 15 a side in a group with the following teams, Cappamore , Shamrock Gaels , South Liberties , Glenroe , Ballinacurra Gaels
U13S: U13s will play 13 a side this year and have been drawn in a group along with the following teams.
Tournafulla , Blackrock , Ballybricken-Bohermore , Feenagh-Kilmeedy
JUVENILETRAINING: Underage hurling training continues in the Millennium centre. The schedule for training is as follows as this will continue in the Millennium centre until we return to the gaa field at the end of March. Any changes to training a text will be sent to you from your coach. U10s Monday 6pm to 7pm , U12s Thursday 7pm to 8pm ,U8s Friday 6pm to 7pm. Please note for U6s they will return to training in the Millennium centre on Tuesday 10th March at 6pm.€2 per session only while training take place in the Millennium centre and all Juvenile players must fill out a registration form and membership for the year is €10.New members welcome to join just call down to any of the training sessions in the Millennium centre sports hall and we can help answer questions if you have some about signing up.
CLUBLIMERICKDRAW: Club Limerick Draw 2015 , 10 monthly draw's €10 per month/€100 Annually. Monthly draw prize fund €24,250 with top prize of €13,000. Last year's draw the club did very well with winners in a number of the monthly draws.
