Football & Hurling Training Continues
Training for our footballers (Senior, Junior, U-21 & Minor) & hurlers (Junior, U-21 & Minor) is well underway. The focus is very much on fitness, conditioning and nutrition for the next couple of months so it is important that all players attend. Turn outs have been decent however we are looking for a greater turnout as we have 70 players registered in both codes from minor level upwards. Feedback has been very positive from the players so we are asking all players to make the effort, you will get back what you put in and be well prepared for the 2015 season.

Upcoming Matches - Footballers & Hurlers to commence season in coming weeks.
Both our Footballers and Hurlers will kick start their seasons in the coming weeks. In Round One of the County Football League Division 1 we will play near neighbours Newcastlewest on March 7th at 3.30pm. Our hurlers will commence their season on April 4th when they play St Patricks in the County Hurling league. Full fixture list will be available in next week's notes.

Limerick GAA Clubs Draw (Formerly Mackey Draw) Our promoters are currently travelling the high-ways & by-ways of the parish to promote this draw again this year. We have a number of new promoters on board so if you were in previously you may be getting a call from a new promoter this year. The first draw takes place on the last Friday of March with a draw each month right through to December. Cost is the same as previous years - €100 for the full 10 draws. There is a top prize of €13,000 each month with 22 other excellent prizes that must be won each month. Our club, (along with most of the other clubs in Limerick) is the big beneficiary of this draw. It is our main fundraiser for the year and we are very grateful to our members who support us each year. A big thank-you to each of you from all our players and members. We are appealing to you to support us again this year.  By supporting it, you are directly supporting our club.
