December 16, 2014

Limerick CLG is delighted to announce that former All Ireland winning captain, Clarecastle clubman and Clare & Dublin manager, Anthony Daly has been appointed as the new Head Coach of Limerick GAA Underage Hurling Academy from January 1st 2015. He will also assume the role of coach for the Limerick minor hurling team as part of Leo O'Connor's management team.
The board are delighted to have appointed one of the most sought after coaches in the Country and look forward to his working with and identifying our potential stars of the future. Anthony brings a wealth of talent and experience to the role and his appointment reemphasises Limerick GAA's commitment to ensuring the highest standards in underage hurling development that have been in place since the launch of the Lifting the Treaty blueprint in 2008.
The board would like to again thank outgoing Head Coach of the Underage Hurling Academy, Jerry Wallace for his outstanding contribution to the development of Limerick's next generation of hurlers and wish him every success in his role with his home club of Midleton.
