Na Piarsaigh will bid for a place in the Limerick intermediate football championship final this weekend.

The north city club may be more renowned for their hurling exploits but major football silverware is very much on the agenda following their quarter-final victory over Castlemahon.

On Sunday, they lock horns with east county outfit Cappamore in what promises to be an intriguing contest at Caherconlish (3:30).

There is little between these sides: when they met in June, they played out an exciting 1-10 apiece draw.
