McDonogh looks ahead

September 12, 2014

Limerick minor selector Stephen McDonogh believes that a number of the current minor squad will play senior hurling for the county.

Even though, they lost out to Kilkenny in the All-Ireland MHC final last Sunday, the former county hurler is confident that the future is bright in the county.

There is a certain amount of them there that will go on to play senior hurling for Limerick and at the end of the day maybe that is the bigger picture," McDonogh told the Limerick Leader.

"I experienced it twice with Limerick in 1994 and '96 and there is nothing you can do only come back again stronger."
