St. Patricks club notes

Senior Football:
Our senior footballers have reached the knockout stages of the Limerick senior football championship which is sponsored by Irish Wire Products Ltd following their victory over Monaleen at Claughaun last Saturday evening. With the team and panel given it all on the night we ran out winners by five points St. Patricks 3-08 Monaleen 0-12 with Eoin Hanrahan hitting our last two goals and Gearoid Hegarty hit our opening goal. With one game left in the group stage against Ballylanders with this game it will decide where we will finish up in the group it could be top second or third deciding by our result or other group results. Our final game in the group will take place on Friday 5th September in Caherconlish at 6.30pm


Junior hurlers:
Our junior hurlers will take on Old Christians in Claughaun in the City junior A hurling championship which is sponsored by Patsy Nicholas Bar Gerald Griffin Street on this Wednesday evening at 7pm once again this game is a must win game to try and reached the knockout stages. Hoping to continue our winning ways following our victory over Ballybrown in the last round our juniors must record a victory to stay in the championship. Our next game in the championship will take place on Saturday 30th August when we will face Mungret in Claughaun at 7pm

U21 Football:
Our under 21 footballers defeated Monaleen by 4-15 to 1-07 in the City under 21 football championship last Monday evening at Rhebogue. The next round game will take place on Thursday 4th September when we will entertain Kildimo/Pallaskenry at Rhebogue at 7pm.


U16 Footballers:
Our under footballers had a great victory over Mungret last Monday evening to stay in the hunt for the final semi final spot in the championship when they defeated Mungret by 4-16 to 2-12 now we must defeat Newcastle west in the final game next Monday evening at Rhebogue to make the semi final spot.

Fundraising:
The club is running a major fundraiser draw in association with our main sponsor Parkway Shopping Centre for our all weather pitch development tickets are now on sale from any club member at a cost of €3 a ticket or 2 for €5 top prize is €100 shopping voucher sponsored by Parkway S.C. Draw will be held on Sunday September 14th at the Parkway Shopping Centre at 4pm.
The club would asked all club members and supporters to support the Parkway shopping Centre if you can as the Parkway Shopping Centre is the clubs main sponsored for this fundraising event.

Membership:
Membership for the club is still open is now due. Rates are as Follows Adult €40. Student/U21 €20 and U18 €10. Contact Eamonn Phelan or any Club committee member. With the Limerick minor hurling team involved in the final of the hurling championship tickets will be hard to get so paid up members will be first to be entertain for tickets in the club draw.


All-Ireland Hurling Tickets:
Only fully paid up members of the club who wishes to be included in the club All-Ireland Hurling Final tickets draw is asked to give their name by text to Eamonn Phelan at 087 2807546, Brian on or before this Friday, 30th August. The draw will take place at the next club committee meeting
